Who's behind Zespr?

Hi there,
We're Diana and Jirka, the developers behind Zespr.

It all started when we stumbled on a discussion where people were trying to track their personal spending down to individual items and complaining there was no sensible tool for it. Grocery prices are a constant talking point, so it struck us that Zespr could also give people objective insight into what food actually costs right now.

On top of that, legislation on digitizing receipts is on the way, and we wanted an app that doesn't sell your personal data to ad agencies and is simply useful.

After a few months we had our first simple version, and once friends gave us positive feedback and we'd ironed out plenty of bugs, we launched the first release on Google Play on June 21, 2025. The app is still in its early days, and we have plenty of ideas and plans to make it better.
