Our Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use the Zespr mobile application (the "App"). By using our App you agree to the practices described below.

1. What data we collect

We collect the following information:

  • Email address - when you create an account and sign in
  • Country - based on your choice when installing the app
  • Photos of receipts - taken with your camera for the purpose of processing
  • Technical device information - collected only if an error or crash occurs in the App, for the purpose of diagnosing and resolving technical problems
  • Sign-in details from third-party providers (Google, Apple) - email address, nickname, and a unique user identifier - when you sign in through these services
Beyond the data listed above, we do not collect any other personal data or device information.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used solely for the following purposes:

  • Extracting and analyzing information from receipts
  • Providing overviews and analytics within the App
  • Managing your account and enabling sign-in
  • Diagnosing errors, monitoring performance, and ensuring the stability of the App

We do not use your data for marketing, advertising, or profiling.

3. Sharing data with third parties

We share photos of receipts with Google, L.L.C. ("Google") and OpenAI, L.L.C. ("OpenAI") in order to extract structured information from receipts (e.g. the store name, items, and prices) using tools based on artificial intelligence. This processing is necessary to provide the core functionality of the App.

Photos are transmitted securely and processed in accordance with the terms and privacy policies of the Google and OpenAI APIs. We do not share your email address or any other personal data with Google or OpenAI.

For the purposes of error diagnostics and monitoring the stability of the App, we use the Sentry service provided by Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry). Sentry is configured so that it does not process any personally identifiable information (PII). If an error or crash occurs, only technical device information (e.g. device type, operating system version, app version) and technical error logs may be transmitted. This data is used solely to detect, analyze, and resolve technical problems and is not used for marketing or advertising purposes.

We do not share your email address or any other data with third parties.

4. Camera access

The App requires access to your device's camera in order to take photos of receipts. These photos are processed only for the purpose for which they were taken.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain your email address and receipt data only for as long as necessary to provide the functionality of the App.

  • Photos of receipts are securely stored in the cloud within the EU and linked to your account.
  • Your email address and receipt data are retained for as long as your account is active.
  • After your account is deleted, all related data, including photos of receipts, will be permanently removed from our systems.

If you wish to delete your account and data, contact us at: support@lumias.cz. We will process your request within 30 days.

6. Children's privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not collect personal data from children under 13.

7. Regional availability

The App is currently available only in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. When processing personal data, we comply with the GDPR data protection regulation.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or for other reasons.

  • If there are material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email.
  • The "Last updated" date at the bottom of the document always indicates when the version took effect.
  • By continuing to use the App after changes are made, you consent to the updated policy.
